Ahead of their gig supporting “Preston’s unholiest sons” Evil Blizzard at Stockton’s Georgian Theatre, London-based Angerland drop their explosive new single, 'Neon Dead,' setting the stage for their highly anticipated debut album: https://li.sten.to/ANGneon

Drawing on the soundscapes of icons such as Killing Joke, Ruts DC and the thunderous feet of thrash, lyrically the song explores psychic numbing.

A concept Stalin summed up as 'one death is a tragedy, a million deaths is a statistic.’

The accompanying video, created by master image-maker Mike Coles, best known for his work with the aforementioned Killing Joke and The Orb, places the band and the song in his unique worldview.

Having been unceremoniously anointed by the infamous Mopman at various Evil Blizzard gigs in the past, bass player Kermit is looking forward to his homecoming gig in Stockton on Saturday 6 July.

Now expanded to a five-piece, the band are currently recording their debut album at Viva Recorders with producer Tim Hamper, aiming for an October release in anticipation of dates booked for Europe in November.
